COVID-19 Vaccination

The Hudson County COVID-19 vaccination site is located at the USS Juneau Center at 110 Hackensack Avenue in Kearny.

NOW VACCINATING AGES 5 AND UP

The USS Juneau Center is a drive-thru vaccination site which means you must be in a vehicle at all times. For your safety, we cannot accommodate people that are NOT in a vehicle. If you do not have access to a vehicle or are unable to find a ride, Lyft provides free and discounted rides to and from vaccine appointments. Call 211 to schedule a ride at least 4 hours before your appointment or walk-in time.

Available Dates
Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech and J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine are available at our sites. Boosters and third doses are also available. Advance registration is highly encouraged, please sign up below. If for any reason you cannot sign up below you can walk in on the available dates listed.

The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine requires that you receive two doses, the second dose being one month after the first.

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine requires that you receive two doses, the second dose being three weeks after the first. Review the Pfizer-BioNTech Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).

Print and sign Parental Consent Form and bring the form with you if you plan on having your child vaccinated.

The J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine is administered as a single dose. Review the J&J/Janssen Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).

Booster Doses
A booster dose of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine may be administered at least 5 months after completion of the primary series to individuals 18 years of age and older. A booster dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine may be administered at least 5 months after completion of the primary series to individuals 12 years of age and older.
A booster dose of the Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) COVID-19 Vaccine may be administered at least 2 months after completion of the single-dose primary regimen to individuals 18 years of age and older.
Eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they receive as a booster dose.
Additional Doses for Immunocompromised

The CDC recommends an additional dose of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for individuals with severely or moderately compromised immune systems (click here for more information).
